Harry Potter versus The Lord of the Rings?
I found that the Lord of the Rings, though Harry Potter was wellwritten and good, was a much better and more satisfying series.

Thats tough to answer, I like Tolkien because of his unique writing style, kinda like he wrote the book not for others to enjoy but just so he could create his own world just the way he liked it exsamples random characters introduced with no warning or back round, writing in made up languages without translations. I also like how Tolkiens characters have real qualities to them, no one is pure evil Save for Sauron each of his characters have some good and some evil and there are reasons for the way each of them act. I like Harry Potter though too, because the story is very well thought out, charming and flows nicely, but I love the emotional connections you make with certain characters I love the feeling like you know them, laughing when good things happen to them, crying when bad things happen. But in the end I believe I agree with you, Lord of the Rings wins.
