Harry Potter,Twilight or The Lord of the rings?

Question

Harry Potter,Twilight or The Lord of the rings?
what is the best series between the three? and which one is the worst ?

Answer

It depends on what you are looking for in a series. All three have their merits and their problems. brbrIll start with my personal favorite Harry Potter This is a great series to show basic battles of Good and Evil you have a character who travels through the Heroic Monomyth Cycle in each book and throughout the series as well. The books are also written at increasing reading level so students who read can grow with the books. The stories contain references and elements of classic fantasy, yet have new and unique elements as well. brbrLord Of the Rings the great example of high fantasy adventure. Incredible depth, a highly developed world with complete languages. The author seems to have written a historical account as much as a story. If you are looking for a sofisticated story with an elevated vocabulary this is the book for you. But the length and incredible detail make this series a difficult challenge for the casual reader and for younger, or less able readers. brbrThen you have Twilight, which most either love or hate. As an English teacher I feel both quite strongly. I cant help but love seeing my students tearing through these thick books. I love watching them be excited about a book for once. But the writing. Oh the writing hurts to read. The basic sentence structure, the multitude of grammatical mistakes. The lack of deep story. The lack of clear moral, except as one student pointed out, Abstinance. There is not much character development through the books. The outcome is predictable. But if you want a simple, entertaining story this is a great book.brbrSo none is really better or worse they just have different purposes and audiences.
